Today was such a beautiful day; the weather was spectacular & I feel like I got a lot of little things done throughout day. My kids swam in the pool today for the first time in a long time & we BBQ’d dinner. It couldn’t have got much better. Earlier this afternoon, I strung some porch lights and cleaned up my patio area a bit by sweeping and straightening up my patio furniture. I also made a target trip and bought a cute little woven rug to place under my Welcome mat, I’ve been in search of one for a while now that would fit under my mat & today, by luck, I found the perfect one. We’re currently working on giving our bedroom a pretty face lift, which has been a little hard with most of everything closed, but we’re managing to get what we can done in the meantime. At Target, I bought a couple bed spreads to see which looks best in our room & I bought this adorable wicker patio set that I have been wanting; it was on sale today so the decision was made for me! I took my elder girls with me to Target, with everything going on right now, I tried brightening up their day with a new bathing suit and some yummy Starbucks! New clothes & Starbucks are always a mood lifter! I also gave myself a nice big smile by finding this adorable sweater while at Target. It is SUPER PRETTY TO THE T! Very simple but stylish, the best part of this was, when I got to the cashier register, I was told it was on SALE! The only downfall today was, time just slipped away; our family has been doing evening walks, but sadly we missed it today, but it’ll be back on tomorrow!!! The kids have really been enjoying this time out, & the nights have been so night. I still have quite the list of things to do that will carry me for the rest of week, but the way I see it, I won’t get bored! Tomorrow, I have some vegetables & herbs to plant and I have my girls room to continue to work on. With this lock down, I think I may have taken on to many projects, but again, that just fine with me!!!! Stay tuned for our room’s update; so far, so good!!!
